Activities Decorate Your Own Cupcake – Prior to the party have prepared cupcakes un-iced and no decorations. Set up a station for the kids to decorate their own cupcake. Provide, icing/frosting, sprinkles, nuts, whipped cream, writing gel, candy, etc. Let the kids decorate their cupcakes and then provide Cupcake Boxes or cellophane bags for them to transport their cupcakes home…or let them eat them at the party!! Pin the Candle on the Cupcake - Just like Pin the Tail on the Donkey using a Cupcake and Candles! Find Pin the Candle on the Cupcake game here! Guess How Many – Provide a jar filled with candy such as Hershey Kisses or Life Savers and have the kids guess how many are in the jar. The guest that comes closest wins. Of course, you need to count how many you put in so you’ll be able to crown a winner! Decorate your own apron - Provide the children with their own white aprons and fabric markers. Let the kids personalize the aprons with their names and drawings. Of course they get to take these home as well! Cupcake Hunt - Have a treasure hunt where the kids have to find all the ingrdients for making a cupcake such as flour, eggs, butter, sugar sprinkles and icing. Put a small amount of each item in it's own small baggy and label it. We suggest using plastic eggs instead of real eggs. Hide enough of each ingredient around the party area so that each child can find each ingredient. Then give the children a list of the ingredients they are hunting for. The child that finds all their ingredients first wins! Note: if the children are to young to read then just have them find as many ingredients as they can. Cupcake Pan Toss - You will need small bean bags and a cupcake baking pan. Label each cup with a number. The first row will be the lowest numbers and number up from there. Each child gets 3 bean bags and standing a distance away from the cupcake pan must throw the bean bags into the pan. Their score is a total of what numbered cups their bean bags were tossed into. The child with the highest score wins. Cupcake Party Food Cupcakes – Of course, you have to serve cupcakes. Purchase a Cupcake Stand (or a few) and place decorative, fun cupcakes for dessert.
