Christmas Tree Ornaments

Christmas Crafts Materials

Round craft foam (or any shape you desire)

Craft glue or hot glue

Glitter

Beads

Markers

Paint

Ribbon or small ponytail holder

Directions

1) Have your child decorate the craft foam as desired such as paint, add glitter, draw with markers, glue beads, etc.

2) Once the ball is decorated fold the ribbon and hot glue the ends to the top of the foam ball or hot glue the ponytail holder to the ball.

3) Hang on tree.

Beaded Christmas Tree

Materials

1 Brown pipe cleaner

3 or 4 Green pipe cleaners

75 - 80 Various colored hair beads

Directions

1) Fold the brown pipe cleaner then twist the 2 ends from about an inch down to create a loop.

2) The green pipe cleaner will be the leaves of the tree. Cut the pieces to the desired length and twist the green pipe cleaner around the brown piper cleaner (the tree trunk). Remember the leaves should be longer at the bottom and gradually decrease in length toward the top of the tree.

3) string beads on the green pipe cleaner leaving enough space at the end to fold over the pipe cleaner so the beads don't fall off.

4) Your tree is ready to be hung.

Christmas Stars

Materials

5 Popsicle sticks per star

Craft jewels, beads, buttons and other decorative items

Paint Optional

Hot glue

Small ponytail holder

Directions

1) Glue the popsicle sticks in the shape of a 5 pointed star.

2) Paint the star if desired.

3) Glue the craft jewels, beads, buttons, etc. onto the star (after the paint has dried).

4) Glue the end of the hair band to the top of the star.

5) Hang from your tree or door knocker.

Tree in the Snow

Materials

Ice cream cones (cone shaped)

Green frosting

Sprinkles

Small candy (like M&Ms)

Small paper plate

White frosting

Directions

1) Turn the cone upside down on a paper plate.

2) Cover the entire cone with green frosting.

3) Decorate with candy and sprinkles.

4) Pipe white frosting on the paper plate around the cone to create snow.

Make several cones to create a forest and use as a centerpiece.
